Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

Dear lord, who thought these questions up - or am I only meant to have embarked on this exercise if I was a teenager? Like many, when I was a teenager and then in my early 20s, I figured I'd probably have the picket fence, the chap, the chitlins and the whole shooting box by now, as per the 'social norm' and also the prep put in from hours of reading historical fiction romances (don't let your girls read them!!).

Mais non! That is not how it has turned out and whether that is through design, default, debauchery or denial (not just a river in Egypt), we will never know.

Who knows what will happen - the above picket fence etc aint all it's cracked up to be for many and the more I see of relationships the less likely I can fathom why to bother.  However, if any of these people decided I was fabulous then I'd let them eat crackers in my bed, but it's just as possible that the next sister up from me (and possible other ones too!) and I will while away our autumn years in rocking chairs on a veranda with a direct tap line to the gin still in the back shed - Father's Recipe* you know...

This would be an excellent result ;-)
